Event takes place in September in new space with more than 300 thousand square meters
One of the most anticipated musical events in Brazil takes place in September this year, from September 15 to 17 and from September 21 to 24, at the Olympic Park, Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro. Beyond the stages: World, Sunset, Electronic, Rock Street, Rock District and Digital Stage, an entire interim structure is being set up to provide to the thousands of attendees at the event.
In all, NHJ do Brasil will provide approximately 1.200 equipment, including living modules and containers to be used as toilets, office, dressing room, stage, backstage, among others. Deliveries began in March and will be completed by the end of August.
Rock in Rio will use part of the space where the Olympic Park was built in 2016. The area, besides being twice as wide as the previous ground (now has about 300 thousand square meters) will allow access by means of transportation that was tested successfully during the 2016 Olympic Games, using the Metro and BRT. The goal of the organizers of Rock in Rio is to provide the public with more comfort and safety.
According to Claudia Rodrigues, commercial manager of NHJ, the biggest differential in this process was in the adaptation of the company to meet the demands required for the event. “We need to adapt our hydrosanitary depletion methodology to comply Rock in Rio. And in relation to deadlines, we establish a friendly relationship in the communication between the people involved and the available resources in view of the objectives set by the contracting company. Everyone is committed to exceeding customer expectations”, she says.
The seven days of Rock in Rio 2017 already have the main attractions defined and the programming almost complete. This year, the main attractions of each night of the World Stage will be: Lady Gaga (15), Maroon 5 (16), Justin Timberlake (17), Aerosmith (21), Bon Jovi (22), Guns N ‘Roses (23) and Red Hot Chili Peppers (24).
