Temporary structures surprised those who attended the Festival
The Rock in Rio 2017 ended this Sunday, the 24th with presentations that marked who was present at the festival. The event, attended by great international artists such as Maroon 5, Bon Jovi, Aerosmith, Shawn Mendes and Guns’ Roses, left the balance of this year’s edition very positive.
The City of Rock has turned into a period of approximately five months to welcome fans with all comfort and quality. In more than 300 thousand square meters, NHJ do Brasil provided a total of 1,543 equipment, including containers and modules that were used as bars, shops, lounges, ticket offices, toilets, Coca-Cola stage, press area, support, backstage and dressing rooms.
On average, 100,000 people passed Rock City every day of the event. In addition to meeting the deadline, which was followed to the letter by all the staff involved in the process, the maintenance team of NHJ do Brasil was on standby in the seven days of the Festival.
“The challenge presented to our team was very great. Being responsible for the maintenance of all the equipment arranged in a space of 300 thousand square meters was challenging, but the whole team dedicated itself entirely to make everything work”, says Paula Pimenta, Maintenance Leader.
The professional reinforces that all requests were made with agility, in order not to cause any inconvenience to the people present at the Festival. “It was all very well planned, down to the smallest detail so nothing went wrong. And according to the size of this event, I can say that we have finalized the work in a very positive way to take NHJ’s name to the highest level of quality we can achieve”, she reiterates.
Scenography and diversity of restaurants surprised those present
One of the great attractions for those who were present at Rock in Rio 2017 was the areas for food: Rock District, Rock Street Africa and Gourmet Square. With a variety of very large establishments, the option to feed during the Festival pleased the audience.
“I went to gourmet space and I thought it was sensational. The installation was excellent and the idea very cool, because it gives you numerous options to make a snack and spend some moments with greater comfort. In addition to having several options that run away from fast food, the space was very well planned, beautiful and comfortable within a reality of a show with a gigantic audience”, says Sheila Morello, who was present in Rock City on September 21 , with Aerosmith as the main band on the World Stage.
With the end of Rock in Rio 2017, now is the expectation for the next edition, scheduled for 2019. “This edition of Rock in Rio has changed the barrier. It was the biggest music festival in the world for a music theme park. Amazing how people did not go straight to the World Stage, but they split up in Rock City. I walked there a few times and the thanks that people were having for being here was enormous”, says Roberto Medina, founder and president of the event.
